Freedom Care so far has been a great help to me and for my caregiver. She's a huge help and it's great that she is being compensated for her time. It's nice not having strangers coming to my home.

I feel very calm and knowing that it’s a member of my family, my grandchild, my grown grandchild who is taking care of me I can sleep and I don’t have to worry about anything. I don’t have to worry about missing my medication. I don’t have to worry about helping me get up when I can’t get up, loving it.

Worst agency that exists, regret using them but since it’s all arranged to make money for the agencies, and not the actual caregivers who do all the work! No one knows what is going on, you get transferred all over the place and you have to be a parrot repeating yourself to see if you can get through anyone. Calls are disconnected and they don’t have the decency to return your call. Yet the first thing they ask is your number in case the call drops. Yeah that’s a joke. Still waiting for the dropped calls to be returned. State cleans their hands by using agencies, instead of them doing the job like other states do. All this agency does is process pay roll and not even that can they get right! 😡 Update So I got a call next day after my review and as usual promises and apologies that all would be taken care of…… Still waiting for them to take care of my issue! It’s been a month since I moved from upstate to LI, and my pay grade was supposed to be changed due to where I now live and provide the services to my elderly mom. We are now in September and still at same pay grade as it was before. Perhaps I should should just go straight to the state and see if something can be done with the service provided by this company!

This is an awesome program. I was able to pick my caretaker. I chose my son who takes care of me anyway. Now he gets paid to take care of me.
